All together, there are 23 students' hostels, out of which 12 are Girls' Hostels and 11 Boys' Hostels, including two hostels (each one for boys and girls) for research scholars.

Each of these hostels have their own piece of history with famous alumni. These hostels have their own cooking and security staff. The overall in-charge of any hostel is its warden, usually a faculty member. Then there are prefects (from among the hostel borders) who assist the wardens. The hostels run their own Mess Committee, which operates on a no-loss-no-profit basis.
