Guidelines & Directives- One MUST submit the dissertation online using the designated portal.
- One MUST submit at least one hardcopy to the office. This copy WILL NOT be returned. If a student wants to have an (or more) official copy (copies) of the dissertation, that many number of copies MUST be submitted to the office.
- The dissertation MUST be printed on both sides of a A4-size paper with at least one inch margin on all sides with 12pt font in a one or one and a half spacing between the lines.
- The dissertation MUST be printed on both sides of the paper.
- The dissertation MUST NOT exceed 50 pages in any case including all pages cover page, abstract, dedication page, content page etc. A dissertation found to have more than 50 pages WILL NOT be evaluated.
- The dissertation MUST contain a self-declaration certifying that the content of the dissertation is the student's own work, certified by the supervisor.
- All equations, figures, and tables MUST be serially numbered. No equation should remain un-numbered.
- References and bibliography MUST be put at the end of the dissertation, not after every chapter. The style of reference is as per GU PhD Thesis style.
- All dissertation will be checked against plagiarism. A dissertation found to have more than 20% copied (plagiarised) material WILL NOT be evaluated.
- The exact timings of the examination will be notified in due course of time.
