29th Convocation, Gauhati University

The 29th Convocation of the Gauhati University was held on Friday, 6 May, 2022 for conferring degrees/diplomas/certificates to successful candidates (of both regular and distance mode) of all examinations for which results were declared during the period from 1st January, 2020 up to 28 February, 2022. Degrees were conferred to the candidate(s), who obtained their Ph.D., M.Phil. and othe degrees from GU during the above mentioned period.

Honourable Chancellor of Gauhati University and Governor of the State of Assam, Prof Jagdish Mukhi presided over this Convocation Ceremony.

Degrees were conferred to over 2400 recients including four Honoris Causa degree recpients. Prof K K Aggrawal, Chairpersom of the National Accreditation Borad was the Chief Guest of the Convocation.
