Sri Dharmasing Teron
Born in 1957 to Late Khoiyasing Teron and Late Kave Singnarpi Teron in Jor Teron Village in the Karbi Anglong District of Assam, Sri Dharmasing Teron obtained his BA degree in History from Diphu Government College under Gauhati Univetsity.
Social Activities
Served in different capacities including as President/General Secretary of the Karbi Cultural Society (KCS)/Karbi Youth Festival (KYF) from 1978 to 2015
Elected as Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous District Council for a 5 year term (1989-1996)
Elected to Assam Legislative Assembly for a term (2001-2005)
Founder Director of ‘Centre for Karbi Studies’ (CKS) since 2015
